For supported controllers with stick drift, TMR stick upgrades are the preferred repair path over standard potentiometer-based stick replacement.
DualSense stick drift, TMR upgrades, buttons, triggers, charging issues, damaged boards, and internal connector problems.
Inspection and repair for SCUF/custom controller issues including sticks, buttons, triggers, internal damage, and more complex disassembly.
Unresponsive buttons, broken triggers, damaged flex cables, worn contacts, or internal mechanical issues.
Torn pads, damaged connectors, previous repair attempts, liquid damage, and board-level controller faults.
For supported controllers with stick drift, OHMX recommends TMR stick upgrades over standard potentiometer-based replacements. TMR modules offer improved stick sensing and reduced wear in the sensing mechanism. Installation is handled carefully to protect the controller board and verify proper function after the upgrade.
TMR stick upgrade for supported standard controllers with stick drift.
SCUF and custom controllers may require more time because of additional disassembly, internal layout, parts, or repair complexity.
Pricing applies to straightforward stick drift / TMR upgrade work on supported controllers. Additional repair may be required if the controller has board damage, liquid damage, damaged connectors, previous repair attempts, charging issues, or unrelated faults.
OHMX Repair Lab works by appointment only. Submit a diagnostic request first, and we'll review the controller model, symptoms, and upgrade request before scheduling a drop-off.
